VisionWorks Engineering offers product development services to clients that are bringing new products to market or are making improvements on existing products. We also offer engineering and design services to assist our clients anywhere along the product life cycle. We offer new product development, mechanical engineering, industrial design, electrical engineering, software/firmware engineering, prototype design and building, testing, manufacturing engineering, and value engineering.
We have expert designers and engineers with experience in most industries. We have especially developed an expertise in: consumer products, industrial equipment, commercial products, renewable and clean energy, medical products, automotive products, and military applications.
We do not currently have a project minimum per se. However, projects less than $5,000 go through a different review and quoting process. Most of our business is repeat-business, so we look at the potential of establishing a long-term relationship when reviewing smaller projects.
Yes, we offer turnkey product development. We take the idea and the vision behind the idea and create a new product while collaborating all along the way with our client.
Yes, we offer individual engineering services. We work with clients anywhere along the product development cycle. We can also co-develop products with our clients as part of a bigger team.
Typical projects are quoted on a Fixed Price (FP) basis. This requires that the scope of the project is well defined and the Product Requirements Document (PRD) is complete. If you need to spend some engineering time exploring and firming up the requirements, we can alternatively quote the project on a Time & Materials (T&M) basis.
We typically perform our product development and engineering services offsite. However, if the client requires, we can usually accomodate working onsite at their facility.
Please contact us and provide project details. After signing a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), we will have you answer a series of questions and provide pertinent product information and documentation. The quoting process normally takes from 2-5 days.
